TEACHING ARTIST: Donna Touth'le Helterbridle-Baker
2 sessions >> Fridays, 6/13 + 6/20 FROM 2–4PM

In this workshop, we will explore the symbolic power of birds as inspiration for creating art, whether through drawing, collage, or writing. Birds can embody themes of freedom, transformation, and the beauty of nature. Together we will explore these themes and look at various birds, feathers, and nature art and then have dedicated making-time for you to create your own unique piece(s). Join us to explore how birds can guide you in crafting meaningful pieces that reflect your own journey and connection to the world.
We recommend using whatever supplies you have available such as pencils, paper, pens, markers, newspaper/magazines, etc.
Art Kits are mailed or distributed directly to participants and include all materials needed to complete a project as well as a step-by-step guidebook. Teaching Artists design these professional kits each quarter. Supplies are limited and prioritized for first-time and online-only participants.
